Typical incline was around 7 degrees - sometimes a bit more, sometimes less. Walk was almost exactly 4 miles and took us a bit over 2 hours. We are fit but casual hikers. Youndon't hike all the waynto the Eagles Nest, instead younultimately arrive at a tunnel whichnleqds to an elecator that takes you to the Nest, from which the views are spectacular. We took the bus back down at about 25 euros each, rather than walk back down. A most pleasant way to spend the day.”
