“The premier service was really good. The transportation bus was amazing and the refreshments provided in the bus was an added value. The driver Jordan drove safely. Our guide Haine was very knowledgable and mentioned the interesting landmarks during the trip and provided additional info with the castles. Worth the time.”

Review of Munich’s Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castle tour, with transport, timing, ticket costs, walking demands, and practical booking advice.

“It should be better known that you have to pay extra for tickets to enter the place (42€), ontop of what you already pay, and what you are then paying for is JUST transport in truth as both palaces have their own tour guide. However if you do want to do this trip going with a group is really the only and best way of doing it. The timing of the day was good, both palaces were worth seeing”

Review of the Neuschwanstein Castle tour from Munich, with transport, guide quality, walking demands, costs, views, and booking advice.

“Lovely one day trip through the Bavarian Alps to Neuschwanstein Castle. Plenty of opportunities for great photos outside of the castle and the immediate surroundings. Good spots for food, drink, and souvenirs. Was happy to learn that there's a bus that takes you up the hill to the castle entry point, so it's possible for all ages to participate. There are still a fair number of steps inside of the castle, so visitors need to keep that in mind.”

“We had such a lovely day with our tour guide Nic! He was super knowledgeable about the area and the history. As we had a small group he made sure that everyone got to branch off and do what they wanted but also had the option to stay with him as he took us around. The castle is amazing, and we opted to go in which was so worth it! Would highly recommend”

★★★★★★★★★★3.7 · 524 reviews · from $51Best value

Neuschwanstein Castle ticket review covering audio guides, pickup, transport, pricing, timing, castle access, and practical tips for Füssen.

“Excellent tour guide, tour was short for the price. It is very difficult to make it to the castle in the time between picking up the tickets in town and the start of the tour. We barely made it in time for our scheduled tour, and that was with taking a taxi. Had we taken the bus, we would have missed our time slot.”

Review of the VIP Munich day trip to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, with castle tips, transport details, costs, walking demands, and honest drawbacks.

“Excellent tour, fantastic driver, guide, snacks and drinks. EXTREMELY comfortable bus with extra large seats and area to hold drinks, snacks, bags and coats. Only thing I need to mention is about Neuwschwestein castle. It is difficult for those with knee, hip or foot issues. Many stairs and steep inclines to go up and back down *even if you take the bus to the bridge and the horse and buggy back down. It doesn't cover the entire distance.”
